On my way home from town yesterday, after leaving Gary and Luca, I stopped in at the garden centre and bought our Christmas tree.


It's standing against the wall at the front door wrapped tightly in it's cocoon of string.

What do you think of my new tree stand? I think the design is much improved on the usual tripod!


The man at the garden centre tried the tree in it and even without the screws in place to hold it, it sat upright and didn't sway or topple.

I'm off to make Ian another hot Ribena.
