For those of you who don't know, I went to college with Sadie many years ago.
In fact we haven't clapped eyes on each other since 1974.
We send each other cards twice a year...at Christmas and on our birthday.
Her birthday is the same day as mine so I don't tend to forget.
Miss it by a day, yes, forget altogether...no.
My father and my godmother, Aunt Margaret from Edinburgh, were also born on the same day...so it used to be a bit crowded but now there's only Sadie and I :(
Anyway...here's a photo of Granda Bill a long time ago! That's Granny Lottie on his arm.
I reckon this photo was taken just after the war, probably 1947 ish.
