Saturday lunchtime

Lunch was courtesy of Marks and Spencers since I had to go and collect Ian's cake from there this morning.

I bought a birthday cake off the shelf as well just in case we run out of cake.

The cake I ordered is meant to feed 40 people... perhaps dainty people I thought when I saw it.

Anyway if I'm wrong, we can use the off the shelf model on my birthday.

All I need now are the candles.

We finished off our M&S lunch with little tartlets... peach and confectioner's custard, pear and frangipan and bakewell. Just lovely...my favourite was the peach and confectioner's custard!

Tonight we are having scallops with black pudding and salad and french bread... M&S
